 Community Club Award
The subject bar says it all Longwell Green Sports Youth (together with Longwell Green Sports & Longwell Green Ladies) achieve Charter Standard Community Club status.

Longwell Green are proud to now be at the pinnacle of FA Clubs holding the highest accolade available of Community Club Award.

In the words of the FA 'Community Club is the pinnacle of the club development pathway, only those that have a high quality, multi-team set up with excellent social, training and playing opportunities for all will achieve this accolade'

This recognises the high quality services provided throughout the club, high levels of coaches qualifications, Child Welfare, facilities and First aid as well as administration and finance. We are required to pass FA Health checks and to hold a detailed 5 year development plan which is checked by the FA and maintained.

This accolode is not awarded lightly we have worked hard to achieve this, only around 1% of clubs in the country can proudly display the badge that now sits on our web site.

Community Club status is defined as one of the truest measures of success by the FA and we hold the highest accolade

Please pass this message out to all parents whether by e-mail or hard copy - a day to be proud that we sit amongst the pinnacle of FA clubs.
