Jasmine Clifton- Runner up in South Gloucestershire's Young Sports woman of the year.
On Thursday the 3rd December our own Jasmine Clifton was awarded a runner up certificate for South Gloucestershire young sports woman of the Year. Jasmine was nominated for her dedication to football and her commitment to her team, Longwell Green under 11’s. Jasmine is the only female player in Hanham minor league under 11’s division A. She often out shines all the other players on the pitch and always gives 100% in the games and in training. Jasmine has been playing for Longwell Green since she was 4 and has been asked to play for Bristol Academy but declined their offer because she wouldn’t be able to play for current team. Jasmine came runner up to an international gymnast who had represented the country in the world championships and won a bronze medal, she was in good company.
Well done to Jasmine, excellent and well deserved recognition
